ડ્રગ્સ કેસમાં આર્યન ખાનને જામીન મળ્યા બાદ પણ મામલો ઠંડો પડતો દેખાતો નથી. નાર્કોટિક્સ કંટ્રોલ બ્યુરોએ સોમવારે કહ્યું કે એનસીબીના અધિકારીઓ આર્યન ખાનના જામીન સામે સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટમાં અપીલ દાખલ કરવા અંગે ચર્ચા કરી રહ્યા છે. આ માટે હાઈકોર્ટના જામીનના આદેશની ચકાસણી કરીને કાયદાકીય અભિપ્રાય લેવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે.
જણાવી દઈએ કે 28 ઓક્ટોબરે જસ્ટિસ એનડબલ્યુ સાંબ્રેની સિંગલ બેન્ચે આર્યન ખાન, અરબાઝ મર્ચન્ટ અને મુનમુન ધામેચાના જામીન સ્વીકારી લીધા હતા. આ પછી શનિવારે બોમ્બે હાઈકોર્ટે જામીનના આદેશની વિગતવાર નકલ જારી કરી હતી. તે સ્પષ્ટપણે લખવામાં આવ્યું હતું કે અદાલતને આરોપીઓ સામે કોઈ પ્રથમદર્શી પુરાવા મળ્યા નથી જે સાબિત કરે કે તેઓએ ડ્રગ્સ સંબંધિત કોઈ ગુનો કરવાનું કાવતરું ઘડ્યું હતું.
કોર્ટે એમ પણ કહ્યું હતું કે આર્યનના ફોનમાંથી જે વોટ્સએપ ચેટ સામે આવી છે તેમાં એવું દર્શાવવા માટે કંઈપણ વાંધાજનક બહાર આવ્યું નથી કે તે ત્રણેય અને અન્ય આરોપીઓએ કોઈ ગુનો કર્યો છે અથવા કાવતરું કર્યું છે.
નાર્કોટિક્સ કંટ્રોલ બ્યુરો (NCB) એ તમામ આરોપીઓના કેસને એકસાથે વિચારવાની દલીલ કરી હતી. આને ફગાવી દેતાં કોર્ટે કહ્યું હતું કે, અમારી સમક્ષ ભાગ્યે જ એવો કોઈ પુરાવો છે કે તે સમજવા માટે કે ત્રણેય આરોપીઓ સામાન્ય ઈરાદા સાથે ગેરકાયદેસર કૃત્ય કરવા તૈયાર હતા.
આ આદેશ બાદ નવાબ મલિકે કહ્યું હતું કે આર્યન ખાનની જામીન અરજી પર બોમ્બે હાઈકોર્ટનો વિગતવાર આદેશ તેમના દાવાને સમર્થન આપે છે કે આર્યન ખાન અને અન્યો વિરુદ્ધ ડ્રગ કેસ નકલી હતો. આ સાથે જ મલિકે કોર્ટના તારણો બાદ NCBના પ્રાદેશિક નિર્દેશક સમીર વાનખેડેને સસ્પેન્ડ કરવાની માગણી પણ ઉઠાવી હતી.
