બિહાર અને મધ્યપ્રદેશ પછી હવે ઉત્તરપ્રદેશમાં પણ વ્હાઇટ ફંગસે પગ પેસારો કર્યો છે. અહીં ગોરખપુરના BRD મેડિકલ કોલેજમાં 3 દર્દી આનાથી સંક્રમિત થઈ ચૂક્યા છે. હવે વધુ સારવાર માટે આના સેમ્પલને તપાસ માટે આપવામાં આવ્યાં છે. આનો રિપોર્ટ 72થી 96 કલાક વચ્ચે આવશે. ઉત્તરપ્રદેશના ગાઝિયાબાદમાં એક અચરજ પમાડે એવો ભયજનક કિસ્સો સામે આવ્યો છે, જેમાં એક દર્દીની અંદર બ્લેક, વ્હાઇટ અને યલો એમ ત્રણેય ફંગસનાં લક્ષણો જોવા મળ્યાં હતાં. આની સાથોસાથ ગાઝિયાબાદમાં પણ ફંગસનો કહેર વધી જવા પામ્યો છે.

બીજી તરફ, ડોક્ટર કહે છે કે જો સમયસર ફૂગની ઓળખ ન કરવામાં આવે અને એની સારવાર શરૂ ન કરવામાં આવે તો દર્દીને બચાવવો મુશ્કેલ બને છે. ફેફસાંના ચેપનું મુખ્ય કારણ વ્હાઇટ ફંગસ (કેન્ડિડોસિસ) છે. ફેફસાં ઉપરાંત એ ત્વચા, નખ, મોઢાના આંતરિક ભાગ, પેટ અને આંતરડાં, કિડની, જનનાંગો અને મગજને પણ ચેપ લગાવે છે.

ગાઝિયાબાદા સંજયનગર નિવાસી એક વ્યક્તિમાં ત્રણેય પ્રકારના ફંગસનાં લક્ષણો સામે આવ્યાં હતાં. જેની સારવાર માટે સ્થાનિક ENT ડૉકટરની ટીમ તપાસમાં લાગી છે. ગાઝિયાબાદની ખાનગી હોસ્પિટલોમાં અત્યારસુધી બ્લેક, વ્હાઇટ ફંગસના 26 કેસ સામે આવ્યા છે. હિસ્ટોપેથોલોજી રિપોર્ટના આધારે દર્દીઓમાં સફેદ તથા એક દર્દીમાં વ્હાઈટ ફંગસની પુષ્ટિ કરવામાં આવી છે.

BRD મેડિકલ કોલેજના વ્હાઇટ એન્ડ બ્લેક ફંગસ વોર્ડના નોડલ ઇન્ચાર્જ ડો.રામકુમાર જયસ્વાલે જણાવ્યું હતું કે આ ત્રણેય દર્દીઓના નાકમાં સફેદ સ્કેબ જામી ગયો છે. જો સમયસર આ નિયંત્રિત ન થાય, તો ઓપરેશન કરવું પડશે. ડો.જયસ્વાલના જણાવ્યા મુજબ, વ્હાઇટ ફંગસનાં લક્ષણોમાં માથામાં દુખાવો, નાક બંધ થવું અથવા પોપડી જામવી, ઊલટીઓ થવી, આંખ લાલ થવી અને સોજો આવવો.
