બોલિવૂડ એક્ટર સૈફ અલી ખાનની લવ લાઇફ પણ ખૂબ જ અસ્થિર હતી.20 વર્ષની ઉંમરે સૈફે 12 વર્ષની અભિનેત્રી અમૃતા સિંહ સાથે લગ્ન કરીને પોતાને આશ્ચર્યચકિત કરી દીધું હતું. બંનેની લવ સ્ટોરી પણ કોઈ ફિલ્મ સ્ટોરીથી ઓછી નથી. ચાલો જોઈએ તેમની રસિક લવ સ્ટોરી જ્યારે ફોટોશૂટના સંબંધમાં સૈફ અમૃતાને ફિલ્મ ‘યે દિલાગી’ ના સેટ પર મળ્યો હતો, ત્યારે તે ખૂબ જ સિનિયર એક્ટ્રેસ તરીકે કામ કરતી હતી. ફોટોશૂટ દરમિયાન સૈફે અમરીતાના ખભા પર પરવાનગી વગર હાથ મૂક્યો, ત્યારબાદ અભિનેત્રીએ તેની સામે જોયું.સૈફને અમૃતાથી આનંદ થયો, તેણે અમૃતાને ડિનર પર જવા કહ્યું, પણ અમૃતાએ તેને ના પાડી.
અમૃતાએ તેના બદલે સૈફને તેના ઘરે આવવાનું આમંત્રણ આપ્યું. બંનેએ સાથે મળીને સમય પસાર કર્યો. ધીરે ધીરે આ બંનેની નિકટતા વધી અને પછી વાત લગ્ન સુધી પહોંચી ગઈ.અમૃતા સૈફ કરતા 12 વર્ષ મોટી હતી, તેથી બંનેને ડર હતો કે તેમનો પરિવાર તેમને સ્વીકારશે નહીં, તેથી તેઓએ પરિવારને જાણ કર્યા વિના 1991 માં રહસ્ય સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા. થોડા વર્ષો સુધી સારું રહ્યું, પણ પછી તેમની વચ્ચે હંગામો મચાવવાના સમાચાર આવવા લાગ્યા. આ સમય દરમિયાન, અમૃતા બે બાળકો (સારા અને ઇબ્રાહિમ) ની માતા બની હતી.તે ઘડિયાળ આખરે 2004 માં આવી જ્યારે અમૃતા-સૈફે છૂટાછેડા સાથેના સંબંધો સમાપ્ત કર્યા.છૂટાછેડા પછી અમૃતાને બંને બાળકોની કસ્ટડી મળી હતી. સૈફે તેને પ. કરોડ રૂપિયા પણ પતાવી દીધા હતા.
અમૃતા સાથે છૂટાછેડા લીધા પછી સૈફે કરીના કપૂર સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા. હવે તે બે બાળકોનો પિતા પણ બની ગયો છે. તે જ સમયે, અમૃતાએ બાળકોને ઉછેરવા માટે તેનો સમય અને તેણે બીજા લગ્ન કર્યા નહીં.
