ભારતની પુરૂષ અને મહિલા બન્ને ટીમોએ ઈંગ્લેન્ડ પ્રવાસ પર જવાનું છે. બોર્ડે પુરુષ ખેલાડીઓને સરનામાની પૂછપરછ કરી કોરોના ટેસ્ટ કરાવ્યો છે. એક ખેલાડીનો ત્રણ-ત્રણ વખત ટેસ્ટ થઈ રહ્યો છે.

જ્યારે મહિલા ખેલાડીઓને કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે કે તેઓ પોતાના ટેસ્ટ જાતે જ કરાવે અને રિપોર્ટ સાથે લઈને આવે ત્યારે જ તેમને બાયો બબલમાં એન્ટ્રી આપવામાં આવશે.મહિલા ટીમને 19 મે સુધી બાયો-બબલમાં એન્ટ્રી કરવાની છે. જ્યારે તે અગાઉ BCCIએ મેન્સ ટીમને પણ 19 મે સુધી મુંબઈમાં ક્વોરેન્ટીન થવા કહેવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

બોર્ડે ખેલાડીઓને મુંબઈ પહોંચતા પહેલા તેમના ઘર પર જ કોરોના તપાસની વ્યવસ્થા કરી છે, જેથી ખેલાડીઓને કોઈ જ પ્રકારની મુશ્કેલીનો સામનો કરવો ન પડે. ખેલાડીઓ સાથે ઈંગ્લેન્ડ જનારા પરિવારના સભ્યોની પણ તપાસ થશે.હકીકતમાં મેન્સ ટીમ પણ જૂન મહિનામાં ઈંગ્લેન્ડ પ્રવાસ પર જવાની છે. ત્યાં ટીમને વર્લ્ડ ટેસ્ટ ચેમ્પિયનશિપ ફાઈલન અને ઈંગ્લેન્ડ સામે 5 ટેસ્ટની સિરીઝ રમવાની છે. આ માટે બોર્ડ તૈયારીમાં જોડાઈ ગયું છે.તેમના મતે મેન્સ અને વુમન્સ ટીમમાં સામેલ તમામ ખેલાડી 19 મેથી મુંબઈમાં ક્વોરન્ટીન થશે.

ખેલાડીઓને મુંબઈમાં 48 કલાક અગાઉ ટેસ્ટ રિપોર્ટ રજૂ કરવાનો રહેશે. નેગેટીવ થયા બાદ જ હોટેલમાં એન્ટ્રી કરી શકશે, જ્યાં તેમને એક સપ્તાહ ક્વોન્ટીન કરવાના રહેશે.મેન્સ પ્લેયર્સને કોઈ પણ પ્રકારની મુશ્કેલી ન પડે, આ માટે બોર્ડના તમામ ખેલાડીઓને ઘર પર જ કોરોનાની તપાસની વ્યવસ્થા કરી છે.

મુંબઈમાં રહેતા કેપ્ટન વિરાટ કોહલી, કોહલી, રોહિત શર્મા અને અંજિક્ય રહાણે સહિત અન્ય ખેલાડીઓને શરતના આધાર પર એક સપ્તાહના ક્વોરન્ટાઈનમાં છૂટ આપવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે, જોકે આ ખેલાડીઓને તેમના ઘરમાં જ આઈસોલેશનમાં રહેવાનું રહેશે.
