વેસ્ટ ઇન્ડીઝ ક્રિકેટના બે દિગ્ગજો ક્રિસ ગેલ અને કર્ટલી એમ્બ્રોઝ વચ્ચેનો વિવાદ હવે સામે આવ્યો છે.

વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝના બે મહાન ક્રિકેટ ખેલાડીઓ ક્રિસ ગેલ અને કર્ટલી એમ્બ્રોઝ વચ્ચેનો વિવાદ હવે સામે આવ્યો છે. ભૂતપૂર્વ કેરેબિયન ફાસ્ટ બોલરે થોડા દિવસો પહેલા કહ્યું હતું કે, ક્રિસ ગેલને ટી 20 વર્લ્ડ કપમાં વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝની ટીમના છેલ્લા 11 માં ન લેવો જોઈએ. આને પલટાવતા ગેઇલે કહ્યું છે કે હવે મારા મનમાં તેમના માટે કોઇ આદર બાકી નથી.

ગેલે મંગળવારે સેન્ટ કિટ્સ સ્થિત રેડિયો સ્ટેશન માટે સવારના શોમાં એમ્બ્રોઝ પર હુમલો કર્યો હતો. ગેલે ગુસ્સામાં કહ્યું કે તે એમ્બ્રોઝના શબ્દોથી પરેશાન છે અને હવે તેને સહન નહીં કરે. ગેઈલે કહ્યું- જ્યારે હું વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝ ટીમમાં આવ્યો ત્યારે હું તેમનું ખૂબ સન્માન કરતો હતો. પરંતુ હવે હું મારા હૃદયથી બોલી રહ્યો છું. નિવૃત્ત થયા પછી મારા માટે તેના મનમાં શું છે તે મને ખબર નથી.

ગેઇલે કહ્યું – તે અખબારોમાં જે નકારાત્મક વાતો કહી રહ્યો છે, મને ખબર નથી કે તે શું ધ્યાન શોધી રહ્યો છે. જો કે, હવે એમ્બ્રોઝ ધ્યાન ખેંચે છે. તેથી હું માત્ર તેમને જરૂર ધ્યાન પાછું આપી રહ્યો છું. હું તમને વ્યક્તિગત રૂપે કહી રહ્યો છું અને તમે તેમને કહી શકો છો કે ક્રિસ ગેલને યુનિવર્સ બોસ કર્ટલી એમ્બ્રોઝ માટે કોઈ આદર નથી.

ગેઇલે કહ્યું- મેં કર્ટલી એમ્બ્રોઝથી બધું પૂરું કર્યું છે. મને તેના માટે કોઈ આદર નથી, જ્યારે પણ હું તેને જોઉં છું, હું તેને જાતે જ કહીશ. હું તેમને કહીશ કે નેગેટિવ થવાનું બંધ કરો, વર્લ્ડ કપ પહેલા ટીમને સપોર્ટ કરો. આ ટીમની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી છે અને અમને ટેકો આપવા માટે ભૂતપૂર્વ ખેલાડીઓની જરૂર છે. આપણને નકારાત્મક ઉર્જાની જરૂર નથી.
