મુખ્યમંત્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીના અધ્યક્ષસ્થાને મળેલી કોર કમિટિની બેઠકમાં રાજ્યના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે કોરોના ના કપરા સમયમાં મહત્વનો નિર્ણય કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. મુખ્યમંત્રીએ વિશ્વવ્યાપી મહામારી કોરોનાના પ્રવર્તમાન સંક્રમણમાં રાજ્યમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સુરક્ષિત રાખવાના કોરોનાની આ સ્થિતિમાં રાજ્યના ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની ધોરણ-૧૦ એસ.એસ.સી.ના નિયમિત વિદ્યાર્થીઓને આ વર્ષ પૂરતું માસ પ્રમોશન આપવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે.
રાજ્ય સરકારે ગુજરાતમાં ધોરણ-૧૦ અને ધોરણ-૧રની બોર્ડની પરીક્ષાઓ જે તા. ૧૦મી મે થી રપ મી મે સુધી યોજાવાની હતી તે પ્રવર્તમાન કોરોના સંક્રમણની પરિસ્થિતીમાં મોકૂફ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય કરેલો છે. રાજ્ય સરકારે પરીક્ષા મોકૂફ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય ૧પમી એપ્રિલે કર્યો ત્યારે એવું જાહેર કરેલું કે તા.૧પમી મે એ કોરોના સંક્રમણ સ્થિતિનું આકલન કરીને પૂન: સમીક્ષા બાદ પરીક્ષાની નવી તારીખો જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે.
રાજ્ય સરકારના આ વિદ્યાર્થી હિતલક્ષી નિર્ણયના પરિણામે ધોરણ-૧૦ ના રેગ્યુલર વિદ્યાર્થીઓને માસ પ્રમોશનનો લાભ મળવાપાત્ર થશે. શિક્ષણ મંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું છે કે, કોર કમિટિમાં મુખ્યમંત્રીએ એવો પણ નિર્ણય કર્યો છે કે ધોરણ-૧૦ ની પરીક્ષામાં બેસનારા રિપિટર વિદ્યાર્થીઓની પરીક્ષા કોરોનાના કેસોમાં ઘટાડો થયા બાદ જરૂરી સમીક્ષા કરીને યોજવામાં આવશે.
