વડોદરામાં મંગળવારે બપોરે ઓટો અને ટ્રક વચ્ચે જોરદાર ટક્કર થઈ હતી. આ ભયાનક અકસ્માતમાં સાત લોકોના મોત અને સાત લોકો ઘાયલ થયાના અહેવાલ છે. પોલીસે મૃતદેહોને પોસ્ટમોર્ટમ માટે નજીકની હોસ્પિટલમાં સુરક્ષિત રાખ્યા છે. સાથે જ ઘાયલોની હોસ્પિટલમાં સારવાર ચાલી રહી છે.

મળતી માહિતી મુજબ વડોદરામાં એરફોર્સ સ્ટેશન પાસે ટ્રેલર ટ્રક અને ઓટો વચ્ચે ટક્કર થઈ હતી. બંને વાહનોની સ્પીડ એટલી હતી કે જોરદાર ધડાકા સાથે ઓટોનો કચ્ચર ઘાણ નીકળી ગયો હતો. નજીકના લોકોએ ઓટો સવારોને બહાર કાઢ્યા હતા. આ બાબતે પોલીસને જાણ કરવામાં આવી હતી. પોલીસ આ મામલે તપાસ કરી રહી છે.

બંને વાહનોને રોડ પરથી હટાવવા માટે બે જેસીબી મશીન સ્થળ પર બોલાવાયા હતા. અકસ્માત બાદ ઘટનાસ્થળે ભારે ભીડ જામી હતી. રોડ પર વાહન વ્યવહાર ખોરવાયો હતો. પોલીસના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર ઘાયલોની હાલત સ્થિર છે. આ મામલે તેમનું નિવેદન લઈ વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે.

વડોદરાના દરજીપુરા એરફોર્સ પાસે છકડા અને કન્ટેનર વચ્ચે ગંભીર અકસ્માત સર્જાતાં 10 લોકોનાં મોત નીપજ્યાં છે. ફાયરબ્રિગેડ અને એરફોર્સની ટીમે છકડાનાં પતરાં કાપીને મૃતદેહો બહાર કાઢ્યા હતા. કન્ટેનર ચાલકે કારચાલકને બચાવવા જતાં સ્ટિયરિંગ પરથી કાબૂ ગુમાવ્યો હતો અને રોંગ સાઈડ ઉપર ઘસી જતા સામેથી આવી રહેલા છકડાને અડફેટમાં લીધો હતો અને કન્ટેનર એરપોર્ટની દિવાલમાં ઘૂસી ગયું હતું.
